N Line service is suspended until the morning of Monday, April 6, due to landslide.
At approximately 07:50 a.m. on April 2, a landslide occurred near milepost 26.4 between Edmonds and Mukilteo. This resulted in debris covering both BNSF mainline tracks. There is no reported damage to Sound Transit property. In accordance with BNSF safety protocols, Sound Transit will implement a 48-hour moratorium on passenger train operations. The N Line is suspended. Service will resume on Monday, April 6. During this service disruption, passengers are encouraged to use Link light rail and available bus services. Starting this afternoon, Sound Transit will deploy additional buses in Lynnwood to assist passengers connecting from Link light rail. To support continued travel, ST will provide a bus bridge service for passengers in Everett, Mukilteo, and Edmonds traveling into Seattle the morning of April 3. Additional buses will also be available in Lynnwood in the afternoon to support passengers connecting from Link light rail. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this service disruption.
