Sound Transit services will operate on a modified schedule Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday.

Services are free from 4 a.m. on Dec. 31 until the end of extended service on Jan. 1, providing passengers with a safe and reliable option for holiday travel. Riders are encouraged to continue tapping on so that ridership data can be collected. Dec. 31 - New Year's Eve 1 Line: Service will run on an extended weekday schedule, with trains running every 15 minutes during late night. The last southbound train will depart Lynnwood at 1:57 a.m., serve Westlake at 2:28 a.m. and arrive in Federal Way at 3:23 a.m. The last northbound train will depart Federal Way at 1:56 a.m., serve Westlake at 2:52 a.m. and arrive in Lynnwood at 3:24 a.m. 2 Line: Service will run on weekday schedule. T Line: Service will run on weekday schedule. Jan. 1 - New Year's 1 Line: Service will run on Sunday schedule. 2 Line: Service will run on Sunday schedule. T Line: Service will run on Sunday schedule.
