University of Washington Station is inaccessible to passengers requiring elevator service. See below for alternate route information.

Passengers requiring elevator service must board at another station. To ride the 1 Line: 1. Go to King County Metro Bus Bay 3 at NE Pacific Pl & Montlake Blvd NE. 2. Take route 44 to Brooklyn Ave NE & E 43rd St for U District Station. 3. Street level elevators at U District Station are located on Brooklyn Ave NE at NE 43rd St or NE 45th St. Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the platform. To exit the station: 4. Board the 1 Line toward Northgate. 5. Exit the 1 Line at U District Station. 6. Go to King County Metro Bus Bay 3 at University Way NE & NE 45th St. 7. Take route 44 to Pacific Pl & NE Pacific St to return to University of Washington Station.
