Passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station. To ride the 1 Line: 1. Go to the King County Metro bus stop at 1st Ave NE & NE 100th St. 2. Take southbound route 67 to 12th Ave NE & NE 65th St for Roosevelt Station. 3. Street level elevators for Roosevelt Station are located on 12th Ave NE & NE 65th St. Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit Northgate Station. To exit the station: 1. Board the 1 Line. 2. Exit the 1 Line at Roosevelt Station. 3. Go to the King County Metro bus stop at 12th Ave NE & NE 65th St. 4. Take northbound route 67 to 1st Ave NE & NE 100th St to return to Northgate Station.
Credit/Cash transactions and ORCA transactions cannot be completed by passengers at the Ticket Vending Machines. Passengers can purchase tickets digitally by downloading the Transit Go app. Currently the ORCA card readers are unavailable to tap on/off for 1 Line service. While ORCA readers are unavailable, passengers are still required to have valid proof of paid fare. Sound Transit Security is currently unable to receive telephone calls or text messages at this time. To report an emergency please call 911. To ride the 1 Line: 1. Continue on 3rd Ave toward James St. 2. Enter the station using the elevator at 3rd Ave & James St. 3. Take the elevator at the North Mezzanine down to the desired platform. To exit the station: 1. Take the elevator down to either platform. 2. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit A. 3. Take the elevator up to the North Mezzanine. 4. Take the elevator at Exit A (3rd Ave & James St) up to the street.

Riders requiring elevator service must board at another station. To ride the 1 Line: 1. Go to King County Metro Bus Bay 3 at NE Pacific Pl & Montlake Blvd NE. 2. Take route 44 to Brooklyn Ave NE & E 43rd St for U District Station. 3. Street level elevators at U District Station are located on Brooklyn Ave NE at NE 43rd St or NE 45th St. Riders requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the platform. To exit the station: 1. Take route 44 to Pacific Pl & NE Pacific St to return to University of Washington Station.

1 Line trains will run from Lynnwood City Center Station to Rainier Beach Station and from Sea/Tac Airport Station to Federal Way Station. Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station will remain closed during this disruption. Trains arrivals will vary: -Trains from Lynnwood City Center to Int'l District/Chinatown will arrive every 5 minutes . -Trains from Int'l District/Chinatown to Rainier Beach will arrive every 10 minutes. -Trains from Sea/Tac Airport to Federal Way will arrive every 10 minutes. Evening train times will run normal weekend service: Trains will arrive every 12 minutes from 9-11 p.m. and 16 minutes from 11 p.m. to last train. At Rainier Beach Station, please board all trains on the platform to Lynnwood City Center Station. At Sea/Tac Airport Station, please board all trains on the platform to Federal Way Downtown Station. Please follow in-station signage and train signage to ensure that you board the correct train as platforms may change due to operational needs. From Rainier Beach to SeaTac/Airport station, 1 Line Shuttle buses will arrive about every 10 minutes. Please use 1 Line Shuttle stop signs to identify where to get on and off buses. Wilburton Station - Elevator 1 has returned to service.
Expect 12-minute wait times from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Trains between Northgate and International District/Chinatown will run every 6 minutes. Expect 16-minute wait times from 11:00 p.m. until the end of service. Trains between Northgate and International District/Chinatown will run every 8 minutes. Regular service resumes each morning. There will be no northbound 2 Line service from Northgate to Lynnwood City Center after 8 p.m. All northbound 2 Line passengers must exit at Northgate Station and transfer to a northbound 1 Line train to continue to Lynnwood City Center Station. This entrance will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians due to a scheduled maintenance. Signage will be posted to direct drivers to the remaining open entrances of the garage. The scheduled closure from Friday, May 8, at 9 p.m. to Saturday, May 9, at 5 a.m. has been cancelled.
The garage will reopen at the start of service on Sunday, May 10. Alternative parking locations include Northgate Park-and-Ride B (139 spots), Northgate Park-and-Ride C - Thornton Place (350 spots), Northgate Park-and-Ride D (448 spots), or Shoreline South Station (500 spots). Passengers will not have access to the garage for parking or station access. Passengers can use sidewalks, elevators, escalators, and stairs to directly access the station at entrances B1, B2 and C.
To Ride the 1 Line: 1. Take the inclined walking path to the Federal Way platform. To exit the station: 1. Take the inclined walking path down to the street.
