Beginning March 3, Sound Transit will be conducting pre-revenue service between Redmond Technology and Downtown Redmond Stations in anticipation of the start of 2 Line service to Downtown Redmond.

Passengers will be required to exit trains at Redmond Technology Station to allow train operators to continue to the Downtown Redmond Station. Redmond Technology Station will continue to be the terminus station of the 2 Line until the 2 Line extension is completed later this year. During this time, station ETA’s may be unavailable. Trains will follow the scheduled arrival frequency of every 10 minutes. From March 3rd until March 21st, Sound Transit will be testing trains with 4 cars rather than 2 to help validate the 2 Line system design.
