To ride the 1 Line from 2nd Ave: 1. Passengers can access both platforms from Exit B (2nd Ave & University St). Passengers requiring elevator service must board at another station. To ride the 1 Line from 3rd Ave: 1. Go to the King County Metro bus stop at 3rd Ave & Union St. 2. Take northbound route 5 to 3rd Ave & Pine St for Westlake Station. 3. Street level elevators at Westlake Station are located on Pine St between 3rd and 4th Ave. To exit the station to 2nd Ave: 1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward Exit B. 2. Take the elevator up to the North Mezzanine. 3. Exit via the pedestrian walkway at Exit B (2nd Ave & University St).

Sound Transit services will operate on a modified schedule Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 due to Christmas holiday.

December 24 - Christmas Eve 1 Line & 2 Line service will run on weekday schedule. T Line service in Tacoma will run on reduced weekday schedule. ST Express buses will run on a weekday schedule. December 25 – Christmas Day 1 Line & 2 Line service will run on Sunday schedule. T Line service in Tacoma will run on Sunday schedule. ST Express buses will run on Sunday schedule.

Starting December 22, Sound Transit will be conducting operator trainings from South Bellevue Station to International District Station in preparation for the 2 Line extension opening.

Passengers will see out-of-service trains departing South Bellevue Station. These trains will continue to International District Station. Passengers will not be affected during these operator trainings. Please pay attention to the train head signs or listen to the audio announcements before you board your train.
