Sounder King Street Station north entrance will be affected by SDOT project from Tuesday, November 12 until Tuesday, November 26. This entrance will be closed at all times for the duration of the closure.

Beginning Tuesday, November 12, Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will start sidewalk improvements on the north side of S Jackson St, between 2nd Ave Ext S and 4th Ave S, the sidewalks and crosswalks at 2nd Ave Ext S and 4th Ave S. This will also affect access to the King County Metro bus island on 4th Ave S between S Jackson St and S Main St (bus stop ID 619). The stairwell serving the north end of the King Street Station Sounder platform and S Jackson Street will be closed. All Sounder passengers must enter and exit via the Weller Street bridge or, if there is an elevator outage on the bridge, from the Amtrak depot.
