During this period, ST Express passengers who cannot use the stairs should use an alternate stop or station. Elevators to the 1 Line platform are expected to remain in service. To ride the 1 Line: Passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station. Passengers on the Southbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 southbound bus to Northgate Station. 2. Passengers can board the Link from the platform at Northgate Station. Passengers on the Northbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center. 2. Passengers can board the Link from the platform at Lynnwood City Center Station. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center. 2. Exit the bus at Lynnwood Transit Center and take the Community Transit 130. 3. Return to Mountlake Terrace Transit center via the Community Transit 130 bus toward Edmonds. To ride the ST Express buses: Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT access the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station and must go to another station however, elevators to the 1 Line platform are expected to remain in service.
You can expect test trains 4 minutes after an in-service train. Test trains will run between Lynnwood City Center and International District/Chinatown stations. Those trains will pause at stations, but doors will remain closed. Please check train head signs before boarding. Regular service trains will arrive at stations every 8 minutes during the testing period. This testing is in preparation for increased service after the 2 Line crosses Lake Washington and extends to Lynnwood City Center.
