Beginning 7 a.m. Monday, December 2 through 5 p.m. Saturday, December 28, Sound Transit will be replacing expansion joint covers on the South Bellevue Station. This work entails closure of one elevator and stairwell at a time, beginning with the elevator and stairwell at the north end of the platform (Exit A). Once the expansion joints are replaced at the north end of the platform, the work will proceed to the south end of the platform (Exit B). During the work hours, passengers should use the elevator or stairwell at the other end of the station. The work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. After 5 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning, the elevator and stairwell will be restored to service OR will remain closed. Both elevators are stairwells are expected to be restored to service by 5 p.m. December 28. For updates, passengers should subscribe to service alerts for accessibility. There has been a series of incidents in which individuals have misused or lit fires in the restrooms at Lynnwood City Center Station. Sound Transit is closing the restrooms until further notice to ensure public safety.
Please use elevator 1 or 2 located in the northeast corner of the garage until repairs have been completed. Please use caution when crossing the tracks.
To ride the 1 Line: 1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform. To exit the station: 1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.

To ride the 1 Line from the street: 1. Go to Broadway Ave E and turn right toward E John St. 2. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E. 3. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform. To ride the 1 Line from the South Mezzanine: 1. Take the pedestrian walkway toward the west exit. 2. Take elevator up to the street. 3. Turn left on Broadway Ave E. 4. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E. 5. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for. To exit the station from the platform: 1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward the E John St exit. 2. Take the platform elevator to the North Mezzanine. 3. Take the elevator at the North Mezzanine up to the street (E John St & Broadway Ave E) elevator access to the platform.
To ride the 2 Line: Passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station. 1. Go to the South Bellevue Bus Plaza. 2. Take King County bus 550, 249, or 241 to the Bellevue Transit Center. 3. Exit the Bellevue Transit Center and cross 110th Ave NE. 4. Enter the Downtown Bellevue Station and take elevator down to platform to board the 1 Line. To exit the station: Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the platform. 1. From the platform, board the 2 Line toward Redmond Technology. 2. Take the 2 Line to Downtown Bellevue Station. 3. At Downtown Bellevue Station, exit the station. 4. Go to the Bellevue Transit Center near 110th Ave NE. 5. Take the King County bus route 550, 556, or 241 to South Bellevue Bus Plaza.
To ride the 1 Line Angle Lake: 1. Cross the North Mezzanine 2. Take the elevator down to the Lynnwood platform. 3. Go to the opposite end of the Lynnwood platform toward Exit C. 4. Take the elevator up to the South Mezzanine. 5. Cross the South Mezzanine. 6. Take the elevator down to the Angle Lake platform. To exit the station: 1. Go to the opposite end of the platform. 2. Take the elevator up to the South Mezzanine. 3. Take the elevator at Exit C (3rd Ave & Yesler Way) up to the street.

Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings -S Line trains will depart Lakewood at 9:51 a.m. and 10:11 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 20 and 45 minutes after the game ends. -N Line train will depart Everett at 10:45 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 45 minutes after the game ends. Want to spread out a bit on your Sounder S Line ride to the game? Head for the northernmost train cars—they're usually a lot less crowded! For even more breathing room, try catching the second S line train in and out of Seattle; it’s generally a bit roomier than the first one. Enjoy the extra space!

Passengers can access the Track 1 platform through the station building along E 25th St. and seek assistance from a station agent, if needed. In the event of a track change, a station agent will temporarily unlock a chain that is blocking access to the west entrance to the Track 1 platform. The chain is a temporary solution to help prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering the platform until new retractable vertical posts can be installed for passenger safety and security. Sound Transit is working to produce an alternate temporary solution until the vertical posts are constructed. Affected lines: S Line

To ride the 1 Line to Lynnwood from Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station: 1. Take the elevator up to the Angle Lake platform. 2. Take the 1 Line to SeaTac/Airport Station. 3. Seattle Fire Department had suspended service in the Rainier Valley due a nearby gas leak on S Hudson St. Puget Sound Energy arrived on scene and was able to resolve the gas leak allowing trains to resume normal service.
