Test trains will pass four minutes after each in-service train, between Lynnwood City Center and International District/Chinatown stations. Regular trains will arrive every eight minutes during testing. Test trains will pause at stations, but doors will remain closed. Please check train head signs before boarding. This testing is in preparation for increased service after the 2 Line crosses Lake Washington and extends to Lynnwood City Center.

Head for the northernmost train cars—they're usually a lot less crowded! For even more breathing room, try catching the second S Line train in and out of Seattle; it's generally a bit roomier than the first one. Enjoy the extra space! 1 Line has resumed regular service. Sound Transit is upgrading signaling equipment in downtown Seattle stations to improve system reliability. 1 Line trains will arrive every 15 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Capitol Hill stations, and every 10-15 minutes between Stadium and Federal Way Downtown stations. 1 Line Shuttle buses will arrive at closed stations every 10-15 minutes. The event will take place between Puyallup and King Street stations. Expect more passengers than usual in the rail car serving the accessible boarding platform, especially children. Regular Sounder passengers can board this car. Priority will go to those needing the accessible boarding ramp. All participants will be assigned a designated train car. This is typically the ADA car, which is generally the second car from the north end of the train. Please note that S Line trains 1524 and 1525 will serve Puyallup track 2 on Dec. 15. Additionally, the platform at King Street Station will be more crowded between 6:16 and 6:30 p.m. The track 2 platform at Puyallup Station will be busier before 5:27 p.m. when the 1524 departs.
