Sound Transit is upgrading signaling equipment in downtown Seattle stations to improve system reliability. 1 Line trains will arrive every 15 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Capitol Hill stations, and every 10-15 minutes between Stadium and Federal Way Downtown stations. 1 Line Shuttle buses will arrive at closed stations every 10-15 minutes. To ride the 1 Line: Passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station. Passengers on the Southbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 southbound bus to Northgate Station. 2. Passengers can board the Link from the platform at Northgate Station. Passengers on the Northbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center. 2. Passengers can board the Link from the platform at Lynnwood City Center Station. To exit the station: Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station. Passengers on the Southbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 southbound bus to Northgate Station. 2. Exit the bus at Northgate Station and go to the bus stop at 5th Ave NW & NE 106th St. 3. Return to Mountlake Terrace Transit center via the King County 347 bus toward Mountlake Terrace Ridgecrest. Passengers on the Northbound platform: 1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center. 2. Exit the bus at Lynnwood Transit Center and take the Community Transit 130. 3. Return to Mountlake Terrace Transit center via the Community Transit 130 bus toward Edmonds. To ride the ST Express buses: Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT access the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station and must go to another station however, elevators to the 1 Line platform are expected to remain in service.
