To ride the 1 Line: Passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station. 1. Go to the Federal Way Downtown Station Bus Bays. 2. Take the King County RapidRide A Line bus toward Tukwila and exit at Kent Des Moines Station. 3. Enter the Station and take the elevator to the platform to ride the 1 Line. To exit the station: Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the platform. 1. From the platform, board the 1 Line toward Lynnwood City Center. 2. Take the 1 Line to Kent Des Moines Station and exit the station. 3. Go to the Kent Des Moines Station Bus Bays. 4. Take the RapidRide A Line bus toward Downtown Federal Way and exit at the Federal Way Downtown Station.

From 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, until the end of service on Saturday, Jan. 24, shuttle buses will replace trains between Capitol Hill and SODO stations. Shuttle buses will arrive at closed stations every 10-15 minutes. 1 Line trains will arrive every 15 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Capitol Hill stations, and between SODO and Federal Way Downtown stations. Sound Transit is upgrading signaling equipment in downtown Seattle stations to improve system reliability.
